Recent federal government funding announcements present a major opportunity for communities and councils to invest in EV charging infrastructure.

The Australian federal government's recent announcement of expanded EV infrastructure funding presents a significant opportunity for regional communities, local councils and private operators to invest in public charging infrastructure - and Alpine Energy is well-positioned to support those deployments.

The funding program prioritises underserved regional and rural areas, community charging hubs and tourism corridors - all markets where Alpine Energy's battery-backed, solar-integrated systems offer a clear advantage over traditional grid-dependent chargers.

Alpine Energy's containerised and standalone systems are pre-engineered to meet the technical requirements typically specified in government procurement programs, including OCPP 2.0 compliance, open-access payment via card terminal, remote monitoring capability and weatherproof enclosures rated to IP55.

We are actively assisting councils and operators with funding applications, site assessments and business case development. Our team has direct experience navigating Victorian and federal funding programs and can provide the technical documentation required at each stage of the application process.

Communities and organisations interested in exploring funding opportunities for EV charging infrastructure are encouraged to contact Alpine Energy early in the process - ideally before submitting a funding expression of interest - to ensure the technical scope and costings are correctly structured.
