A major Victorian regional council has successfully deployed our containerised EV charging system, delivering reliable charging to three community sites.

A major Victorian regional council has completed the deployment of three Alpine Energy containerised EV charging hubs across its municipality, delivering reliable, battery-backed fast charging to communities that previously had no public charging access.

Each site features a self-contained Alpine Energy containerised system with 3× DC fast chargers, integrated GoodWe battery storage, rooftop solar PV and NAYAX payment terminals. The systems operate independently of the grid during peak periods, drawing on stored solar energy to reduce operating costs and ensure consistent availability.

The deployment was funded in part through the Victorian Government's Zero Emissions Transition Fund, with Alpine Energy managing the full scope of works - from site design and council approvals through to installation, commissioning and ongoing remote monitoring.

"We needed a solution that could operate reliably in our region without putting pressure on ageing grid infrastructure," said the council's infrastructure lead. "Alpine Energy's containerised systems gave us everything in one package - the chargers, the battery, the solar and the monitoring. It's been an incredibly smooth deployment."

All three sites went live within six weeks of order confirmation, with usage data showing an average of 18 charging sessions per day across the three locations in the first month of operation.
