Leadership Team

Behind every charging solution we deliver is a team of dedicated engineers, innovators, and industry experts committed to building a cleaner, smarter energy future. From system design to on-site deployment, our team combines technical excellence with a deep understanding of Australia’s unique infrastructure needs.

Mark Wexler

Founder and Principal Electrical Engineer

Mark founded Alpine Energy to accelerate Australia’s transition to a smarter, electrified energy future. The mission is grounded in delivering technical innovation through engineering execution, regulatory compliance, and strategic consulting with a strong focus on deploying battery and EV infrastructure in real-world, often challenging, environments.

From Design to Deployment

Mark’s work spans the full lifecycle of energy projects, including the design and delivery of 800 Vdc-capable EV fast chargers operating on standalone microgrids, the deployment of the world’s first pole-mounted grid battery, and advisory support for government grid stability initiatives. Solutions are purpose-built for Australian conditions, leveraging collaboration with local manufacturers and global suppliers.

Trusted Across Sectors

Through Alpine Energy EV, Mark supports OEMs, EV charger operators, testing laboratories, councils, and government agencies with expert guidance on compliance, certification, and technical delivery. His experience includes navigating standards such as IEC 62619, UL 1973, and UN38.3 – ensuring every project contributes to a resilient, future-ready, community-led energy system.

Salli Lloyd

Founder and Sustainability & Community Engagement Lead

Salli brings a deep passion for sustainability and a strong background in community engagement to Alpine Energy. She is dedicated to making clean transport more accessible and believes that looking after the planet is one of the most important responsibilities we share.

Her role focuses on bridging the gap between innovative fast-charging technology and real-world community benefit. Whether it’s rolling out chargers in regional towns like Oxley or ensuring locals are part of the energy transition, Salli ensures that every installation is grounded in purpose and people.

At Alpine Energy, Salli is helping deliver a new kind of EV fast charger designed specifically for Australian conditions. The goal is to build a future where clean energy is not only possible, but practical, local, and inclusive.
